"You let him lose his mother, and his brother, within days of each other!" Thor finally blurts, continuing to snarl out his words harshly.

Deep down, Thor was still angry about all that had occurred. His own Loki's recent series of near-death experiences, had caused Thor to repress that anger, to keep his little brother happy. But this? This??? Needed more repression than Thor was capable of, apparently.



"Tell me, Liesmith, that he is not a broken man. Regail me of how much your throne means to you, that you'd throw away all chances of the respect and care you have ever claimed to seek, that you might sit there, in Odin's stead. What do the people think of him, Loki? Does it rankle -- having your every accomplishment attributed to him?"
